What do you want after your studies? Will I stay in Nijmegen or am I going to work somewhere else? Which company suits me? These are all difficult questions that we will all have to answer one day. Fortunately, we are finally organizing the career day this year! On the 9 th of May we will go to Utrecht. During this career day we will visit companies at another city. As an extra, we also organized an (optional) networking dinner this year. Here you have the opportunity to talk to Synergy alumni. Through these activities you can find out what you do (or don't) want to do in the furture. And the best, it is completely free. Even any public transport costs can be claimed back! But what exactly does the day look like? 9.00 - Gather at Nijmegen Central Station On this hopefully beautiful morning we all gather at Nijmegen station and then go to the first company together. Ideal for getting to know some people! 10.30 till 13.30 - Visit BDO The day starts with a visit to BDO. BDO is the fifth largest accountancy firm in the Netherlands. They are engaged in audit & assurance and accountancy & business advice. During this morning they will tell you all about this and give a tour of the organization. We will continue to have lunch at BDO. 14.00 till 17.00 - Visit IG&H After our first visit we will go to IG&H. IG&H tries to fill the gap between strategy and IT based on socio-technical principles. They will tell you more about IG&H and give a tour of their office. Then they will organize a drink. After this they will host a drink. This gives you an insight into what it would be like to work for IG&H and whether this would be something for you. After the visit to IG&H there is the possibility to go back to Nijmegen or to join the network dinner. 17.30 - Network dinner Everyone must be hungry after the company visits. That is why we also offer the option to go out for dinner with us. Here you get a pizza and a drink at Synergy's expense. A few Synergy alumni will also be present here. These alumni can tell you al about the start of your career; what they did and if they would do it again. In addition, there is of course also the possibility to make contacts that you can use later. Not only with the alumni, but also with the other participants. We do not organize anything after the dinner. You can then can travel back to Nijmegen with the group, but you also have the option to stay in Utrecht. Unfortunately there are only limited places, so do not forget to register.
