Oud-besturendag 2 april

Proeflokaal Bregje Nijmegen

Beste oud-bestuurders,    Nadat we de vorige oud-besturendag helaas hebben moeten annuleren is het 2 april nu wel zo ver! We zullen dan genieten van een 3-gangendiner bij Proeflokaal Bregje Nijmegen, Plein 1944 128, 6511 JG Nijmegen, en hier ook genieten van afgekochte drank. Voor slechts €33,50 kan je van dit alles genieten in het gezelschap van de verschillende oud-bestuurders.   Je bent welkom vanaf 19:15 en vanaf 19:30 zullen we beginnen met dineren. De drank is dan tot 21:30 afgekocht, maar daarna ben je natuurlijk van harte welkom om te blijven naborrelen met de optie om onbeperkt te kunnen blijven drinken voor €5,- per half uur.   Je kan je via dit evenement aanmelden tot 30 maart 10:00 . De betaling zal t.z.t gaan via een betaalverzoek.   We hopen jullie te zien!

Synergy Drink: The Guilty Fitness Drink

It is that time of the month again, it is time for the monthly drink on the 11th of April! The drink will take place at Drie Gezusters and it will start at 21:00h . The theme for the drink is guilty fitness due to the fact that the “batavierenrace” will take place very soon! Join us in your most guilty sports outfit, score some points for the synergy division and enjoy the free barrel! Also, you have a chance at winning 2 tickets for Netherlands - Poland on Friday, 10 June at De Kuip, Rotterdam. All you have to do is register for the drink and join the drink! Semi-Annual Evaluation General Members Meeting

On Tuesday the 12th of April, the board of Synergy will present their semi-annual evaluation of 2021-2022 during the General Members' Meeting. The General Members' Meeting will take place at  De Waagh , Grote Markt 26 in Nijmegen. The doors open at  19:45 hours  and at  20:00 hours  the meeting will start. If you want to come to the General Members' Meeting, you have to sign up via our website. The General Members' Meeting is  the time let your voice be heard  and leave your mark on the future of the association. In this way, you get the opportunity to participate in discussions about matters such as: the budget of your committee, planned activities and other developments within the association. In addition, multiple drinks are arranged and you can enjoy tasty snacks. So grab this opportunity and join us for the General Members' Meeting! The agenda of the General Members' Meeting is available  here . In the agenda, you will be able to see an overview of the topics that will be discussed. We expect you to read the documents in advance of the General Members' Meeting. In order to prevent unnecessary discussions and keep the meeting effective, we would like to ask you to send your questions regarding the documents to chairman@synergy.nu, ultimately by  Thursday the 7th of April . The questions submitted will guide the General Members' Meeting. After subscribing, the agenda, the semi-annual evaluation, the proposal of the changes to the statutes, the changes made to the rules of procedure and the minutes of the Policy and Extra General Members' Meetings will be sent to you. If you would like to receive the semi-annual financial evaluation as well, you can request it by sending an email to secretary@synergy.nu . All the documents will also be available at the Synergy Office (EOS N 00.180) from the 29th of March. If you do not understand Dutch, our  secretary  can send you a summary in English. If you cannot attend the General Members' Meeting, please send an e-mail to secretary@synergy.nu. Atlas Trip 2022: Athens, Mykonos & Santorini

After the cancelation of the Lustrum trip to Rio de Janeiro, the Atlas Committee has been busy organizing a new trip to a wonderful destination. And it will be absolutely great because we will be visiting the sunny Greece! During the trip, three beautiful destinations will be visited. First, we will discover the Greek culture and history in the sparkling capital of Athens. Then, we will do some island-hopping. We will visit the island of Mykonos, known for its beautiful windmills and beaches. Eventually, we will end the trip on the island of Thira (Santorini), world-famous for the white houses of Oia and its Vulcanos. We will fly to Athens on Thursday, April 14th 2022 and we will return to the Netherlands on Friday April 22th 2022. Fo r a price of € 595,- you can go on this trip (including Student Life). When you are not qualified to receive the subsidy, the price will be € 739,74. One is qualified to receive a subsidy if this is the first time you go on the Atlas Trip. Payment for the trip will be done by automatic collection. For this price, you get a fully arranged trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini, including breakfast and dinner during the whole trip, transfers, overnight stays, company visits, and cultural activities. The subscriptions are now open until the 21st of February at 15:00h sharp. There is an option to subscribe with a buddy ( max. 1 person ). You can do this by writing the name of your buddy in the comment box. We will raffle between everyone that subscribed, the results will be communicated by mail. Unsubscribing for the trip can be done by sending an email to secretary@synergy.nu. T he deadline for unsubscribing is the 28th of February. If you wish to unsubscribe after this deadline, the automatic collection will still be drafted.   For this trip, the  Synergy travel conditions  apply. Open SPiNERGY Party: King of the Jungle

It’s time to party again! Be prepared to have a lot of fun and to see a lot of new faces, because we will organize this party together with SPiN, the study association for Psychology. Make sure to get your craziest costume out of your closet for the theme, King of the Jungle It’s on Wednesday the 20th of April at Drie Gezusters. You are welcome from 23:00 and can stay until closing time!! Y ou can register via our website. Entrance will be free for members and non-members will pay €2,-. Personal Development: Investment Tips for Students

These days you hear a lot about investing. Students are doing this as well, perhaps you too. However, most students often have different budgets and risks. During this workshop, Bob Zoutenbier will be giving investments tips for students. It will be a lunch lecture that will take place on campus in the Elinor Ostrombuilding, room EOS N01.360 . It will start at 12:15h and it takes approximately one hour. The workshop will be free for members and non-members will pay €4,70. We hope to see you! Statutes General Members Meeting

On Tuesday the 26th of April, the board of Synergy will present their plans to change the statutes during the Statutes General Members' Meeting. The Statutes General Members' Meeting will take place at  EOS N 01.610 . From  12:15h  you are welcome and at  12:30h  the meeting will start. If you want to come to the Statutes General Members' Meeting, you have to sign up via our website After subscribing, the agenda, the proposed changes to the statutes and the part of the minutes of the last General Members' Meeting regarding the statutes will be sent to you. All the documents will also be available at the Synergy Office (EOS 00.180) from the 12 th  of April. If you do not understand Dutch, our  secretary  can send you a summary in English. Batavierenrace

Nijmegen – Enschede

This year, Synergy will be participating again in the yearly Batavierenrace. This is a relay race from Nijmegen to Enschede of approximately 175 kilometers long, which will take place from the 29th of April until the 1st of May! The race is divided in 25 tracks, which end on the Campus of Twente University in Enschede. After the last track of the race, there will be a big party on the campus in Enschede, where we will also be camping. You don’t want to miss this iconic event! The price for members is €30,- and it will include participation in the race, a hoodie specially made for the Batavierenrace, entrance to the party and an overnight stay. The price for non-members will be €72,55 We need 25 runners, who will battle against the other teams on behalf of Synergy. Running will be done in the evening (29th of April) and during the day (30th of April). We will divide the tracks based on distance preferences.
