Circular entrepreneurship in times of corona

Many entrepreneurs are hit hard by the corona crisis and this has a huge impact on the economy. Where especially the negative consequences of the virus currently dominate our lives, it is also good to look at the positive opportunities of this crisis. That is why RvN @ and Study Association Synergy, together with Assistant Professor of Strategy Sjors Witjes on behalf of the Radboud University, will organize an interactive afternoon for students and entrepreneurs on the 3rd of July from 14:00 to 17:00.
During this afternoon, discussions will take place in small groups via Zoom about the consequences of the corona crisis on the transition to a circular economy. What good points does the corona crisis bring to this? And in which cases do we step back now? And most importantly of course, how do we continue? By having the entrepreneur and the student think about this together, we can come up with a plan with which we can go further and also view the positive aspects of the corona crisis. To make this afternoon a great success, we hope that you want to join this interactive session and that we can take an extra step in the right direction together. By actively participating and sharing your opinion, we hope to help each other and achieve great results!
The program will look like this:

· Circular Kickstart options
16:15 - Discuss results and summary
16:30 - Discussion / networking

For the second round break-out rooms it is possible to choose which theme you want to get started with, you can indicate this when registering for the event. The themes of the Break-out rooms will be explained further in the afternoon, but we would like to highlight two more. In the Break-out room 'out of the box', we will look at the influence of corona from a broader perspective and how we can make positive use of it and what steps can be taken to achieve this. The Break-out room "Circular Kickstart possibilities" will discuss how the Circular Kickstart Team helps entrepreneurs with their Circular issues and objectives and what possibilities there are for a student to contribute to this.

Door de coronacrisis worden veel ondernemers hard geraakt en dat heeft een gigantische impact op het bedrijfsleven. Waar vooral de negatieve consequenties van het virus op dit moment ons leven beheersen, is het ook goed om de positieve kansen van deze crisis te bekijken. Daarom organiseren RvN@ en Study Association Synergy samen met Universitair docent Strategie Sjors Witjes namens de Radboud Universiteit op 3 juli van 14:00 tot 17:00 een interactieve middag voor studenten en ondernemers.
Gedurende deze middag zal er door middel van discussies via Zoom in kleine groepen nagedacht worden over de gevolgen van de coronacrisis op de transitie naar een circulaire economie. Welke goede punten brengt de coronacrisis hierin mee? En in welke zaken doen we juist nu een stapje terug? En het allerbelangrijkste natuurlijk, hoe gaan we nu weer verder? Door de ondernemer en de student hierover samen te laten nadenken kunnen we tot een plan komen waarmee we weer verder kunnen en ook de goede kanten van de coronacrisis kunnen bekijken. Om van deze middag een groot succes te maken hopen we dat jij wil aansluiten bij deze interactieve sessie en we samen weer een extra stapje in de goede richting kunnen zetten. Door actief deel te nemen en jouw mening te delen hopen we elkaar te kunnen helpen en tot mooie uitkomsten te komen!

In ronde 1 van de Break-out rooms zal er in kleine groepen van studenten en ondernemers onder leiding van een gespreksleider nagedacht worden over de kansen op het gebied van circulariteit door corona en de negatieve bij-effecten op het gebied van circulariteit door corona. In ronde 2 van de Break-out rooms zal aan de hand van de resultaten uit ronde 1 nagedacht worden over hoe we ondanks corona toch een stap vooruit kunnen zetten op het gebied van circulariteit. Hiervoor zullen de break-out rooms verschillende thema’s aanhouden zodat we tot gerichte resultaten kunnen komen.
Voor de tweede ronde break-out rooms is het mogelijk om te kiezen met welk thema je aan de gang wil, dit kan je aangeven bij het aanmelden voor het evenement. De thema’s van de Break-out rooms zullen op de middag zelf nog verder toegelicht worden, echter willen we er alvast twee wat meer uitlichten. In de Break-out room ‘out of the box’ zal er vanuit een breder perspectief gekeken worden naar de invloed van corona en hoe we die positief kunnen benutten en wat voor stappen daar mogelijk voor kunnen zijn. In de Break-out room ‘mogelijkheden Circulaire Kickstart’ zal besproken worden hoe het Circulaire Kickstart Team ondernemers helpt met hun Circulaire vraagstukken en doelstellingen en wat voor mogelijkheden er voor een student zijn om daar een bijdrage aan te leveren.
