International Students

Synergy is the Study Assocation for (International) Business Administration, Business Economics and Law and Management students. As these are English-taught programmes there are many nationalities among our members. On this page you can find useful information for international students!

Activities
Synergy organises around 150 formal and informal activities a year. The informal activities are a fun way to get to know other students and have a great time together. With the formal activities Synergy strives to brigde the gap between theory and practice. All members are welcome at the activities and the spoken language is English! This is also the case for the study trips. We strive to organise all activities in English, but unfortunately sometimes this is not possible with external parties. If this is the case, the sentence 'Unfortunately, this event will be held in Dutch' is added to the event.

Buddy Programme
The Radboud University wants to make the transition to Nijmegen as smooth as possible, and that is why the Nijmegen School of Management offers incoming students the buddy programme! They pair new international students with current students who provide a helping hand in the process of becoming a real citizen of Nijmegen, adjusting to the student life as well as first friendships. The buddy will also be there to answer questions. Are you interested? Click here for more information. Questions about the buddy programme can be sent to buddy@fm.ru.nl.

International Mobility Office
NSM's International Mobility Office (IMO)  is the main point of entry for incoming international exchange students. IMO is the contact for incoming exchange students before and during their stay in Nijmegen. IMO also coordinates hundreds of Exchange Agreements in countries all over the world. If you have any questions regarding education, what to do after your arrival in Nijmegen or the Radboud IT systems you can contact the International Mobility Office via this link.

The Life Net

The Economic Board has developed an online platform called ‘The Life Net’ which is a on-site regional platform about living, working, studying and entrepreneurship in the region of Arnhem, Nijmegen and Wageningen. The Economic Board manages this platform on behalf of the province of Gelderland and the municipalities of Arnhem and Nijmegen. Here knowledge workers, students, entrepreneurs and companies can find all the information they need to start and feel at home in the region on The Life Net.
