On Tuesday the 27th of September, the annual inauguration of the new board will take place during the General Members' Meeting. During this meeting, the board of 2021-2022 will evaluate the past year and the candidate board of 2022-2023 will present their plans for this year. The General Members Meeting will be in Dutch. The General Members' Meeting will take place at Café Faber (Van Broeckhuysenstraat 12-14, 6511 PH Nijmegen). From 18:30 hours you are welcome and at 19:00 hours the meeting will start.
The General Members' Meeting is the time to let your voice be heard and leave your mark on the future of the association. This way you get the opportunity to participate in discussions about matters such as: the budget of your committee, planned activities, the promotion of your interests within the university as well as other developments within the association. In addition, multiple drinks are arranged and you can enjoy some tasty snacks. So grab this opportunity and join us for the General Members' Meeting!
After subscribing, the agenda, the evaluation of the policy plan, the vision of the candidate board for upcoming year and the minutes of the last General Members Meeting will be sent to you. If you would like to receive the evaluation of the financial plan as well, you can request it by sending an email to our secretary. All the documents will also be available at the Synergy Office (EOS 00.180) from the 13th of September. If you do not understand Dutch, our secretary can send you a summary in English.
The agenda of the General Members' Meeting is available here. In the agenda, you will be able to see an overview of the topics that will be discussed. We expect you to read these documents in advance of the General Members' Meeting. Also, send your questions regarding the documents to chairman@synergy.nu, ultimately by Thursday the 22th of September. The questions submitted will guide the General Members' Meeting.
Unlike a typical General Members' Meeting, not all text will be read aloud. Therefore there's extra emphasis on reading the documents beforehand. The board will summarise, clarify and provide examples where necessary. As stated before, questions can be sent in until Thursday the 22th of September. The submitted questions will be answered when discussing the parts concerned in the documents.

Someone else can cast your vote for you, if you let us know at least 24 hours before the start of the General Members' Meeting. If you cannot attend, but you are interested in receiving the documents, please send an e-mail to secretary@synergy.nu to receive these documents.
