SPiNERGY Shots Bowling Night

On the 1st of February , it is time to show off your bowling skills! On top of that, this activity is organised together with SPiN, the study association for Psychology.  We will kick off the activity with dinner which will start at 18:30h . So make sure you're  on time  for dinner at  Olround Nijmegen.  After we had dinner it is time to put your bowling skills into practice (around 19:30h). SPiN Members: Wear your most crazy and fabulous hat SYNERGY Members: Wear your most extravagant or most fancy Glasses The registrations will open on January 12, at 13:00h . You can join this activity and have dinner for just €12,50 (members) or €14,75 (non-members) *You can unsubscribe up until 24 hours before the start of the activity. Not in the mood for the cold weather anymore? Already looking forward to heated sand underneath your feet? With this activity you can already get yourself ready for the coming summer! Come and play beach volleyball together!    Enjoy heated beach volleyball from 17:00 to 19:00 and after that 2 free drinks! Later on the evening we will probably see each other in the city ; ) The winner of the tournament will receive a nice prize! Are you interested in joining one of our committees starting in February and do you want to become an active member? On the 7th or 9th of February we will tell you all about it during the  Information Session for Active Membership ! The information session will take place on campus during the break from 12:15h-13:30h. It will also include a  free lunch , so feel free to sign up for the information session! Active membership at Study Association Synergy means that you participate in one of the 23 committees that Synergy has. All committees have the purpose of organising or supporting certain activities for members of Synergy, but it is also a great way to develop yourself and to meet new people! The nature of the activities differs from informal activities to major career events! During the information session we will elaborate on what it means to be an active member, which committees we offer and what the committees will be organising. Committees that will be starting in February are:  Ski Trip, Atlas Trip, Business Trip, Synergy Week, Orientation Week and Kick-Off! Sign up and find out which committee fits you the best!

Are you interested in joining one of our committees? Then join the Information Sessions for Active Membership at the 7th and 9th of February, during the lunch break! There will be a free lunch included. Active membership at Study Association Synergy means that you participate in one of the 21 committees that Synergy has. All committees have the purpose of organising or supporting activities for members of Synergy. The nature of the activities differs from informal activities to major career events. You can participate in an informal committee or a formal committee. Available committees: Ski Trip, Atlas Trip, Business Trip, Synergy Week, Orientation Week and Kick-Off Committee.  Are you interested in being a chairman of the committee? Check that box, let us know for which committee you want to be a chairman and send a short motivation letter (maximum of 250 words) to secretary@synergy.nu !  Questions? Coffeecorner General Members' Meeting

On  Friday the 16th of February , the General Members' Meeting about the Coffeecorner and change in internal regulations (Huishoudelijk Reglement) will take place. During this meeting, the board of 2023-2024 will present their plans for the Coffeecorner. The General Members' Meeting will be in Dutch. The General Members' Meeting will take place at  the Elinor Ostrom Building, 01.150  (Heyendaalseweg 141, 6525 AJ Nijmegen). From  12:15 hours  you are welcome and the meeting will start at  12:30 hours . The General Members' Meeting is  the time to let your voice be heard  and leave your mark on the future of the Coffeecorner. This way you get the opportunity to participate in discussions. So grab this opportunity and join us for the General Members' Meeting! After subscribing, the agenda and the policy plan will be sent to you. All the documents will also be available at the Synergy Office (EOS 00.180) from the 2nd of February. If you do not understand Dutch, our  secretary  can send you a summary in English. The agenda of the General Members' Meeting is soon available here. In the agenda, you will be able to see an overview of the topics that will be discussed.  We expect you to read these documents in advance of the General Members' Meeting. Also, send your questions regarding the documents to  vicehairman@synergy.nu , ultimately by  Friday the 9th of February . The questions submitted will guide the General Members' Meeting.  Unlike a typical General Members' Meeting, not all text will be read aloud. Therefore there's extra emphasis on reading the documents beforehand. The board will summarise, clarify and provide examples where necessary. As stated before, questions can be sent in   until Friday the 9th of February. The submitted questions will be answered when discussing the parts concerned in the documents. If you cannot attend the General Members' Meeting, please send an e-mail to  secretary@synergy.nu . Someone else can cast your vote for you, if you let us know  at least 24 hours  before the start of the General Members' Meeting. If you cannot attend, but you are interested in receiving the documents, please send an e-mail to  secretary@synergy.nu  to receive these documents. 

Become the new board information session

On Tuesday, February 27th, the time has come for The Trainee Company to present a lecture for us on 'Chat GPT in Finance'. The Trainee Company is the specialist in the field of traineeships, offering two-year traineeships to swiftly prepare young professionals for the job market.
