Now that the destination is known, we look ahead at the most exciting Synergy activity of the year!
Everyone was wondering, where would the trip be going? At the Synergy drink the video started to play and everyone immediately knew what was going to happen: the journey would go to Lisbon. And not only that, but also Portugal’s other big city, Porto, could count on some love. From November 14th, 13.00 o’clock you can sign up to the Atlas trip. So it is time to get acquainted with both the ‘The White City’ and ‘Porto’.
Lisbon
Lisbon is obviously the capital and biggest city of Portugal and therefore a big economical centre. Their port is enormous and provides an entrance into the city, in which most business happens at the ‘Lisbon Metropolitan Area’. Many headquarters can be found here and surely the lucky Synergy members will quickly find themselves among these tall buildings.
According to the Synergy flyer, people come to Lisbon to party and this is certainly not a lie. Everyone who visits will find something he/she likes. There are bars and cafés to visit in the beginning of the evening, and then, when it becomes later, it is time to move to one of the famous clubs, like the stylish ‘Lux’.
You would almost forget why most tourists come to a city: to go sightseeing. I could go on for hours about what there is to see in this beautiful city, but I invite you to find out for yourself why it is called ‘the white city’.
Porto
It’s very important that we do not forget the second place that we’ll be visiting. Porto is ‘the place where they come to work’. Truly, it is the most important place of the industrialized North-West, and the business centre will surely be interesting to visit. The city is most well-known for its very famous export product, the Porto wine. While the city has no specific sights to see, overall, the city has some great views, provided by the amazing buildings, the huge bridge and the illuminating colours.
