Marjolein Ingenbleek

The candidate board would like to introduce itself one by one during this orientation week. Today it`s time to get to know our new Marketing Officer: Marjolein Ingenbleek

Hi, my name is Marjolein Ingenbleek and grew up in Siebengewald. No, this is not located in Germany, although I know it sounds like it does. It is located in the north of ‘Limburg’ (the best province in The Netherlands, since they know how to celebrate ‘Carnaval’ in the right way). I am 22 years old and currently studying a premaster in Business Administration. Yeah that’s right, I am a University of Applied Sciences alumni and decided to do my premasters to get a Masters degree in Marketing. Like some others in my board, I grew up on a farm. Mine consists of over 130 cows, which probably makes me a cowgirl, right? In my spare time I like to dance, so when you meet me in a bar don’t hesitate and dance with me!

Last year my friend Sabien Beerens introduced me to our Study Association, Synergy, and persuaded me to become an active member. I ended up joining two committees: Case Competition and PR. I can gladly say that this was one of the best decisions I made during last year. I’ve met a lot of great people and went to several slammin’ parties together with my friends. Furthermore, I joined Synergy’s Ski trip and the Atlas trip to Moscow. I very much recommend signing up for events like these, because they are lots of fun! During the year, I spoke to Sabien about her board year and she convinced me to apply for the board position Marketing Officer. I am very happy I got the opportunity to join the board as Marketing Officer and cannot wait to start!

So, you’re probably thinking ‘what do you do as a Marketing Officer?’. Let me explain. This year I’ll be responsible for all public promotion and the brand behind Synergy. I will keep myself busy with things like the monthly newsletter and updating our social media channels. Another part of the function is to recruit active members. Lastly, I will be available for the PR-coordinators of every committee to help and inspire them.

I’m looking forward to the activities with all of you. Furthermore, I wish you all a lovely year with a lot of fun and goodluck studying!

Kind Regards

Marjolein Ingenbleek
