*Cancelled* Synergy Conference: 'Challenges of the Modern World'

On Thursday the 2nd of March the Synergy Conference will take place at Fort Lent. The theme is 'Challenges of the modern world'. In addition, there will be six sub-themes: 'digital transformation', 'sustainable supply chain', 'strategic change', 'diversity and culture', 'sustainable finance' and 'impact of social media'. Different speakers and organizations will tell you everything about this (sub-)theme(s). There will be two rounds of multiple workshops from Mainfreight, Baker Tilly, PwC and Eiffel! The day will start around 9.30 with the openingspeaker, so be sure to be there! The drink starts at 16.30 ! There will be limited spots available , so sign up right now! So, do you want to participate in interesting workshops and take part in the free lunch and drinks afterwards, sign up now!
Synergy Weekend 2023

Are you looking forward to a weekend full of activities with your friends? Then sign up quickly for the Synergy Weekend from March 3th to 5th, 2023! During this weekend various activities will take place such as a fries table, a Cantus, a Pubquiz/Music Bingo, 'Levend Stratego', Archery tag, and much more! The registrations will open on Monday, February 6th at 12:00h . It is possible to sign up with a buddy! The price for members is €60 and for non-members €... This includes food, a place to sleep, transportation back to Nijmegen on Sunday and several fun activities. The only thing it doesn't include are the coins for the party. The subscriptions will be open up untill the 13th of February, 17:00h . If there are too many registrations, there will be raffled between everyone. You can unsubscribe up until a week (February 24th) before the start of the activity. You will then receive back your money.
Synergy Drink: 'Après-ski'

Ski season is almost over, but of course the party continues! So come to the next Synergy Drink on March 6 from 21:00 , with the theme Après-Ski. Keeping with this theme, the drink will be in Heidi's Skihut . It promises to be a super fun evening, so make sure you're there! If you don't want to take off your ski suit just yet, leave it on and come to the next drink! As giveaway, there will be snacks for everyone this evening!
Lunch Lecture Fincade: DISC Training

👉 What typifies you? 👉 What typifies your colleagues? 👉 How can you improve collaboration when you understand each other better? In Fincade's DISC training on the 7th of March 2023, we will work with the different behavioural styles. What is your style? And what other styles are there? Because when we have got to know ourselves better, we can also estimate which behavioural style is primary in the other person. This knowledge will help you understand why your colleague is so direct, why cooperation with one person is better than with another and why your fellow students may act differently from you. There will be a very short time spent on theory, as the main part will of course consist of interactive exercises so that you get the right tools to apply DISC in your (future) work and beyond. Informal Activity: Beer Tasting

During this 3th Informal Committee activity on Wednesday the 8th of March , we are going to taste 10 heavenly beers at De Hemel (Heaven) for only €8,75 as a member and €14,75 as a non-member. Besides, this is a fun activity to do, you can already drink some beers before going to the Management Madness party, which we will all go to afterward! We will start at 19:30h, so make sure to be on time. At 22:00h, we will go together to the Management Madness party.
Management Madness Party: 'First Letter of your Name'

On the 8th of March it is time for the Management Madness Party! Together with the ESV, Mundus, ismus and BOW we organize an open party, so take all your friends with you because everyone is welcome! The theme is ‘the first letter of your name’ so put on your most creative outfit! The party will take place on the 8th of March at the Drie Gezusters from 21.30h . You can already buy a ticket for only €1,- at the Synergy Office. It is also possible to pay at the door for only €2,-. Pay attention to the fact that it is only possible to pay by card.
Formal Master Activity: Recruitment Dinner

If you fancy a free four-course dinner including drinks and do you want to meet four interesting companies? Then come to the recruitment dinner at 'De Waagh' on Thursday March 9! Per course you rotate between the companies that will be present: Leeuwendaal, BDO, iTrainee & IenPM to get an idea of what you could do at these companies after finishing your studies. CV selection will be used for this event. The event is free for members and for non-members the price will be €38,80. The subscriptions are open for third year students, pre-masters, masters, and graduates.
Informal Master Activity: Make and taste your own pizza

We would like to invite you to come and bake your own pizza at Il Nano on Monday, March 13th, while enjoying a drink! Il Nano's pizza bakers will give a pizza baking course, after which you can bake your own 4-star pizza. Have you always wanted to take a pizza baking course and then slide your own pizza into the oven? Then don't wait too long and sign up! For members the participation fee is only 15 euros. On Wednesday the 15th of March, the board of Synergy will present their semi-annual evaluation of 2022-2023 during the General Members' Meeting. The General Members' Meeting will take place at Café Faber (Van Broeckhuysenstraat 12-14, 6511 PH Nijmegen). From 18:30 hours you are welcome and the meeting will start at 19:00 hours . If you want to come to the General Members' Meeting, you have to sign up via our website. The General Members' Meeting is the time let your voice be heard and leave your mark on the future of the association. In this way, you get the opportunity to participate in discussions about matters such as: the budget of your committee, planned activities and other developments within the association. In addition, multiple drinks are arranged and you can enjoy tasty snacks. So grab this opportunity and join us for the General Members' Meeting! The agenda of the General Members' Meeting will be send to you. In the agenda, you will be able to see an overview of the topics that will be discussed. We expect you to read the documents in advance of the General Members' Meeting. In order to prevent unnecessary discussions and keep the meeting effective, we would like to ask you to send your questions regarding the documents to chairman@synergy.nu, ultimately by the 10th of March. The questions submitted will guide the General Members' Meeting. After subscribing, the agenda and the semi-annual evaluation will be sent to you.
