Synergy Drink: Sinterklaas

The next drink will take place on December 5th, during Sinterklaas evening. Come by for a nice drink in Van Buren. The drink starts at 21:00h and there will of course be a lot of 'pepernoten'. We will start at 22:00h with a music bingo and a free barrel, so make sure you're there! But the doors are open all night of course. Furthermore, a dinner voucher of €50 will be raffled! The drinks are only for Synergy members, so bring your membership card with you. The entrance is free and you are not obliged to come dressed as Sint or Piet (of course you are allowed to ;)).

Sports Activity: Ice Skating

The cold weather has arrived, which can only mean one thing... Ice Skating! On Tuesday December 6th we will go ice skating at Triavium from 15:30h to 16:45h. Would you like to join the ice skating event with fellow students? Then sign up now! The price for members is only €3 and for non-members €4,95. We hope to see you on the ice. You may bring your own ice skates. If you do not have them, renting the ice skates on location is for your own account (the price for the event is therefore excluding these rental costs). If you want to unsubscribe, you can do so up to 24 hours before the start of the activity. You will then receive your money back minus €0.36 iDeal costs.

Personal Development Activity: Time Management Training

Do you ever feel like there's not enough time in the day? Or why do some people achieve more with their time then others? The answer: Good Time Management! Time Management refers to the way that you organize and plan how long you spend on certain activities. During the lunch break on the 8th of December, Hanif Widyanto (Junior Lecturer and PhD Researcher will provide the most important principles when dealing with time management. This lecture will approximately take one hour and a free lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Business Administration Reflection Time (BART)

Do you want to have a say in the coming changes in education? Then you should join our BART session! The BART (Business Administration Reflection Time) is a session where students and teaching staff can give input on their program. We will discuss several statements and think about how we can improve our education program. Some of the statements will be about practical forms of exams, the differences in previous education in the master and the breaks during lectures.

Connect Activity: Drinking Games

On the 13th of December it is time for the first connect activity! This evening is all about playing different drinking games and we invite all students to participate. The activity will start around 19:45 hours, right in time to watch the football match. Synergy will provide the night with 3 free barrels so arrive on time. Then become a board member at Synergy! Are you curious about what a board year actually entails? Join us at the Synergy Board Information session on Wednesday the 14th of December! During this evening, the board will explain what the different functions are and what a board year in general entails. There will also be plenty of time for questions that you have. The session starts at 17:00h and we will provide pizzas and some drinks!

Christmas Cantus

The cantus will be given in Dutch. The most wonderful time of the year is coming again: Christmas! To celebrate this, we have organized a real Christmas cantus! The theme is 'jasje dasje' and you will get a Christmas hat from us. During the well-known cantus we will do what we love to do: fraternizing with your fellow students while enjoying one (or perhaps a little more) beer(s). Of course we will do this by singing (Christmas)songs under the watchful eye of the preasidium. The cantus will take place in the Basement of the Drie Gezusters. It starts at 19:30 and lasts until 22:00. The costs for this activity are €15 for members and €26.12 for non-members. It is almost Christmas, so it’s time to party! The Synergy Christmas party is here again, and therefore you cannot miss out on this one! Do you want to sing along with the best Christmas hits? Just come to the 'Project X-Mas' party! Put on your best Christmas outfit or your best Christmas sweater. At the party, everyone is welcome so take all your friends with you. The party will take place on the 21st of December at Heidi's Skihut from 23:00h. Members of Synergy have free access. Non-members only pay €2,50. Pay attention to the fact that it is only possible to pay by card.
