The Business Administration Department and the Business Administration Alumni Network want to invite you to join the New Year’s Business Administration Event on Tuesday 25 January from 4.30 - 6.15 pm . The event will take place via an professional online stream (in English of course). What's going on @ Business Administration? (4.30 - 4.45 pm) Curious about what is going on within the Business Administration programme? Department Head Prof. Yvonne Benschop will start this event with a brief review of the last year. Study Association Synergy will also provide an update. Speaker: Leonie Barelds-Cramer from UNICEF (4.45 - 5.35 pm) Afterwards, Dr. Ir. Nanne Migchels will talk to alumna Leonie Barelds-Cramer . She currently holds the position of Senior Specialist in Children’s Rights and Business at UNICEF Netherlands. Here, she works on the impact of companies on children’s lives . Businesses affect children in different ways; because their parents work there, because they work at businesses themselves, because businesses are part of the neighbourhoods where children grow up or because businesses make products that children consume. Leonie focuses specifically on the food industry. Why are there so many foods with unhealthy ingredients marketed specifically to children? This marketing of unhealthy foods influences children’s choices and consumption behaviours, which in turn affects their rights to grow up in a healthy manner. Previously, Leonie worked at PepsiCo and she holds a PhD in the economic behavioural psychology of food choices. Listen to the conversation on businesses, food and children, and ask your questions in the chat. Meet each other (5.40 - 6.15 pm) After the professional stream, there is time to talk on Zoom. Blisss Inhousedag

Op donderdag 27 januari organiseren wij bij ons op kantoor (Molenveldlaan 110, 6523 RM Nijmegen) een Inhousedag. Tijdstip : 16.00 uur tot 18.00 uur. Volg jij momenteel een opleiding in de richting van bedrijfskunde en heb je nog geen goed beeld hoe het er in de praktijk aan toegaat op de werkvloer? Tijdens deze Inhousedag krijg je een goede indruk hoe het is om als consultant of voor een softwarebedrijf te werken. Programma Wellicht heb je de naam Blisss wel eens horen vallen maar weet je nog niet precies wat wij doen als bedrijf. We vertellen je o.a. over: Wat een ERP-project precies inhoudt (projectteam, duur, fases, deelprocessen, uitdagingen) Hoe ziet een werkweek eruit Hoe begin je bij Blisss; wat houdt het Junior traject precies in Uiteraard is er ruimte om tussendoor vragen te stellen. Als de maatregelen het toelaten is er aansluitend nog een borrel in het restaurant van de Kazerne.🍻 Inschrijven Meld je aan via het inschrijfformulier . Ski Trip 2022 CANCELED

It has been a long wait, but the time is nearly there: Ski Trip 2022! The Ski Trip Committee has organised an amazing week full skiing, après-skiing and most importantly fun! The Ski Trip will be going to Risoul and it will take place from the 28th of January until the 6th of February. Members will pay €580,- for the ski trip and non-members will pay €650,-. The subscriptions will close October 14th. It's possible to subscribe with a buddy by entering his or her name below in the comment box. You can unsubscribe for the event until the 21st of October. We will raffle between everyone that subscribed. If you wish to unsubscribe, you can send an email to secretary@synergy.nu. If this is done before the 26th of October, the subscription fee will be refunded. If this is done after the 26th of October the costs incurred will be charged. For this trip, the synergy travel conditions will apply
