Ben jij een wo-student of zit je in de laatste fase van je hbo-opleiding? Ben je nieuwsgierig welke werkzaamheden een startend accountant in Audit & Assurance uitvoert? Wil je erachter komen of BDO en jij bij elkaar passen? Dan is de Insight Day zeker iets voor jou. BDO Insight Day Op donderdag 18 november nemen wij jou graag mee in een dag van een Assistent Accountant en leer je BDO beter kennen. De Insight Day staat volledig in het teken van live ervaren hoe het is om in de accountancy te werken. Dit doe je op ons kantoor én bij een klant. Je gaat dus echt op pad, onder begeleiding van een ervaren medewerker. Wij hopen je deze dag op ons kantoor te kunnen ontvangen (uiteraard conform RIVM richtlijnen). Mocht het door de maatregelen toch niet mogelijk zijn om dit evenement fysiek door te laten gaan, hebben we een online/hybride alternatief. Programma 9:30 – 11:00 Kennismaken met BDO en je buddy op een BDO-kantoor bij jou in de buurt 11:00 – 17:00 Met je buddy naar de klant om mee te werken 17:00 – 20:00 Afsluitend avondprogramma met heerlijk diner Je kiest zelf met welk BDO-kantoor je kennismaakt die dag: Alkmaar, Amstelveen, Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Breda, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Groningen, Hengelo, Maastricht, Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Tilburg en Utrecht. Aanmelden kan tot en met donderdag 4 november. Selectieproces Via bovenstaande link upload je je cv met daarin je relevante werkervaring en opleidingen. Na je inschrijving neemt de recruiter contact met je op voor een korte telefonische kennismaking en krijg je uitleg over de online capaciteitentest. Na afronding van deze test (duurt max. 30 minuten) krijg je van ons bericht of je definitief deelneemt aan de BDO Insight Day. Waarom de Insight Day anders is dan een inhousedag De Insight Day staat volledig in het teken van écht ervaren hoe het is om in de accountancy te werken. Je gaat dus ook écht mee naar een klant en zelf werkzaamheden uitvoeren onder begeleiding van een ervaren Assistent Accountant. De dag start voor jou bij het BDO-kantoor in de buurt. Hier word je samen met de andere studenten persoonlijk ontvangen door de partner en maak je kennis met de medewerkers op de vestiging. Ook leer je jouw buddy alvast beter kennen en kom je meer te weten over de BDO organisatie. Vervolgens is het tijd voor het echte werk. Jouw buddy neemt je mee naar zijn of haar team bij de klant. Hier kom je alles te weten over de klant, het controleproces en natuurlijk: de werkzaamheden. Onder begeleiding van jouw buddy ga je verschillende controles uitvoeren en in gesprek met de klant. Zo ervaar je optimaal hoe het is om bij BDO te werken. Vanuit de klant reis je aan het einde van de werkdag met je buddy door naar een dinerlocatie in de regio. Hier ontmoet je de studenten en medewerkers van andere vestigingen en sluiten we de dag gezamenlijk af met een heerlijk diner en valt er ook nog een prijs te winnen. During the Business Course, your personal development is central, as is the introduction to Deloitte and the versatility of the Accountancy profession. You will experience what it is like to work in the Audit department at Deloitte. This year we will travel to a unique place in our own country where you will get to work in an innovative setting. Together with other ambitious students you work on a real-life case in which you go through a complete Audit cycle. You will also be challenged on a personal level. During the Business Course you will have the opportunity to ask all your questions to professionals and they will coach you on an individual level to get the best out of yourself. Finally, attending fun activities on location will of course not be missing. In addition to the hard work, we also make a lot of time for fun! You do not need to have your CV at hand for this; After your registration you will receive a request from us to upload your CV and motivation letter; If you are selected, you will be asked by us to make an online assessment within a week; After completing the assessment, you will hear from us whether you have successfully completed it and whether you will be invited to one of the selection days; Program The Business Course consists of a kick-off event in the weeks prior to the Business Course Audit, followed by the Business Course itself which lasts 3 days.
